Australian Civil Solutions
Australian Civil Solutions (ACS) are a plant hire and civil services company that specialises in pipeline installation throughout the East Coast and Australia-wide.
Before engaging Cloudcon, ACS collected their wet-hire dockets and site forms using a paper-based process, and used a whiteboard to schedule employees and equipment. Information was then manually extracted from these dockets and forms and transposed into excel for their invoicing and payroll.
Cloudcon built a system that allowed ACS operators and site-based personnel to complete dockets and site forms via an operator-friendly mobile app. The dockets and forms allow instant oversight on the days’ revenues and costs and enable ACS to complete their invoicing and payroll at the close of business.
Cloudcon also integrates with the business’ accounting system, which ensures all systems are up to date without additional administration time.
ACS also use the Cloudcon system to complete their operator prestarts, and fleet maintenance where they are alerted for upcoming services, registration and inspection expiries.
During the implementation, we tested many diﬀerent ideas to achieve an optimal result for the ACS team. It was a collaborative eﬀort with many design changes that have resulted in a ‘perfect fit’ for ACS with Cloudcon.
Cloudcon continues to develop their software with innovative features that help ACS reduce administration time and allows them to focus on their core business operations.
Austrack Equipment Rental & Sales
Austrack Equipment Sales & Rentals (Austrack) supplies the construction, mining and agricultural industries with quality new and used equipment for sale and hire.
Austrack used spreadsheets and a whiteboard for their processes prior to Cloudcon.
Their spreadsheet calculated revenue and the whiteboard showed the team where the equipment was – at great expense of time and effort.
Cloudcon developed a system that automated Austrack’s invoicing, replacing the spreadsheets and reducing the end of month billing process from one business day to less than 15 minutes.
The Cloudcon software shows Austrack their monthly revenue projections, revenue by equipment type and also by each project. Data insights like these help the business makes more informed purchasing decisions to keep their customers happy.

Truck Hire Solutions
Truck Hire Solutions is a truck hire company, servicing the construction and oil & gas industries throughout Australia.
Before deciding to implement a paperless system, Truck Hire Solutions were utilising spreadsheets to calculate revenue. They completed their maintenance and prestarts on paper and used a Word document to track the allocation of their plant and equipment.
Cloudcon developed a system that automated Truck Hire Solutions’ billing and maintenance, allowing them to remove the spreadsheets and paper from their business.
Truck Hire Solutions also installed GPS into their ﬂeet that Cloudcon integrates with to get accurate, real-time fleet information on fleet health, performance and utilisation.
